Out and About & On the Boards: Oregon State Hospital, Salem, Oregon

Elizabeth and Cherry visited the Oregon State Hospital on one of Oregon's most beautiful October afternoons. While on site to study sight lines and scale issues for exterior signage, they also enjoyed the splendid fall foliage and historic features of the arboretum-like hospital grounds. AK is developing exterior and interior sign programs to accompany the hospital's major renovation and new construction slated for completion in 2011. Soon, no one will recognize the famous site of the movie "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" with Jack Nicholson.
